The wonderful Sable Hunter invited me to join this blog hop where we share links to authors who have new releases. Sable's new book, I'll See You In My Dreams is available now, and you can find it at her blog site
My new release, Cowboy Jackpot Christmas, is a fun story of a cowboy who is having amazing luck on Christmas Eve in Las Vegas.

Here's the blurb: A lucky first kiss in front of a Las Vegas slot machine pays off big for bull rider Boone Hancock and New York college student Gigi Colberg-Staub. During the day they spend together as VIP guests of the casino, an intense attraction develops. Throughout the night they share in the big bed of the comped suite, hot, sensual moves ignite wild climaxes.
When Gigi receives a miscommunication, she believes Boone thinks of her as one-night buckle bunny. She confronts him, but Boone convinces himself it's best for both of them if she goes on believing that, and he lets her walk out of his life. When he realizes his mistake, and then sees the sacrifice Gigi made for him, is it too late to win her back?
Ten Interview Questions for The Next Big Thing:
What is the working title of your book? Cowboy Jackpot: Christmas. It's the first book in a three-book series. Cowboy Jackpot: Valentine's Day will be released in January.
Where did the idea come from for the book? I spent a few Christmases in Las Vegas, and it always seemed that the slot machines were 'looser.' I wanted to pair up a cowboy, Boone, who was participating in a rodeo to benefit the needy, and a lonely New York college student, Gigi, whose first kiss was very lucky, in a number of ways.
What genre does your book fall under? Erotic Romance. It's very romantic, while still having some hot love scenes.
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? Boone would have to be Channing Tatum, and Gigi would be played by Jessica Biel.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? A lucky kiss in front of a Las Vegas slot machine pays off big for a bull rider and a New York college student.
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? This one is self-published. I'm published with the awesome Wild Rose Press, but I decided I needed a Christmas story this year, and it was far too late to submit it to Wild Rose for this year's holiday releases.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? Two weeks. Then I set it aside for a couple weeks and do the rewrite on it. I had an amazing editor, Ursula Avery, professionally edit it for me. (Thanks, Urs!)
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? I aspire to write like the awesome Lorelei James, the wonderful Cat Johnson, and the fabulous Delilah Devlin.
Who or What inspired you to write this book? I love Christmas time in Las Vegas, I love winning jackpots, and I love cowboys. It's a winning combination!
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? I mentor an ex-pro bull rider, and I get ideas and data from him to add realism to my books.
